Contrary to rumours about Anushka receiving a lukewarm response due to her height, the dusky actress has been getting offers ever since Vijay signed her for Vettaikkaran. Soon after she completed Singham with Suriya, the willowy actress has been signed by actor, choreographer and director Lawrence for his next movie. A sequel to his earlier directorial venture Muni, the new film tentatively titled Kanchana will be a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu. Sources say that Anushka will be seen in a substantial role unlike her earlier Tamil movies. Lawrence’s fifth directorial venture is expected to go on floors by April-end. |
