Sudigaadu (సుడిగాడు) is a Telugu comedy film directed by Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao and produced by Chandrasekhar D Reddy under Arundathi Movies.The film features Allari Naresh and Monal Gajjar in the lead roles. Allari Naresh plays double roles in this movie as father and son. Allari Naresh revealed that they have spoofed more than 100 films made in the last two decades and the film is said to be a complete laugh riot.

Shruti Haasan as the brand ambassador for Kalanjali

Shruti Haasan has been signed as the new brand ambassador of Kalanjali. She has replaced Deepika Padukone who was endorsing the brand for the past few years. So far, Shruti Haasan had endorsed brands like Cornetto and Videocon Home Appliances. This is the first time that Shruti Haasan has endorsed a saree brand which is hugely popular in Andhra Pradesh. Her brand value has shot through the roof after the success of Gabbar Singh and this might just be the beginning for her. This year is turning out to be quite fruitful with plenty of producers lined up for her dates and brand endorsements. She has signed two films including Ravi Teja's Balupu and Prabhu Deva's film which is a remake of Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana.

Allari Naresh's overseas market increases with Sudigaadu

Allari Naresh has made a career out of spoof comedy, but never had an oppurtunity to a do a complete spoof on films. Since Sudigaadu is a spoof film on big starrers, the producers have to spend atleast 40% more than the stipulated budget for Naresh. The funny and entertaining trailers have made sure that a good craze is generated for this film among the business circle.


Though NRI crowds enjoy watching Allari Naresh's films (mostly on DVD), his theatrical overseas market had never exceeded 10 lacs rupees. But for the first time in the career of Naresh, there has been a multi-fold jump in the sales of overseas theatrical rights. As per the sources of idlebrain.com, the theatrical rights of Sudigadu for entire overseas have been sold out between 35 - 40 lacs. Allari Naresh comedy, Bheemineni's track record in remakes, spoof orientation (buzz created by trailers) made sure that Sudigadu get a positive vibe.


The stipulated budget for Allari Naresh films is said to be under 5-crores, but the budget of Sudigadu is around 7 crores. Despite spending over 2 crores excess on the making, the producer is happy because the sales have been very good. We have to wait and see whether the movie creates the same impact as the trailers or not when it releases in this month end.

Sudigadu is a spoof on Telugu films and it’s traditions. The makers are in news for all right reasons these days. The audio launch was started off with a disc function. Disc function is technically held after the sales of units cross 1 lac mark. Sudigaadu producer has arranged disc function ahead of music launch. The first trailer has got sensational response with all the fans irrespective of who their favorite hero is appreciating the trailer. The trailers logged lacs of views in youtube. The Linky Pinky song teaser (a song inspired by Khoya Khoya Chand) too made a splash for its concept.

Sudigaadu trailers have generated good buzz on social media with celebrities praising it. These trailers went viral on facebook with several likes and shares. Taking cue from the super success of trailers, the producer is releasing the above advertisement in newspapers.
