‘Varudu’ satellite rights sold for Rs.3.5 crores?

 
The ball has been set rolling for Allu Arjun’s ‘Varudu’ film release later this month. Directed by Gunashekar and produced by DVV Danayya on ‘Universal Media’ banner, the film’s audio was launched on March 7th in Hyderabad. The story of the film is said to be based on the 5 day marriage ceremony and the film itself is going to have a rich traditional look. The latest buzz is that the satellite rights of the film have been reportedly sold for Rs 3.5 crores! The film has been doing good business and the USA, Canada theatrical screening rights and Overseas DVD rights were earlier bagged by IKON Entertainments. Mani Sharma is composing the music of this film. He’s currently engrossed in the re-recording process of this film. The entire shooting ofthe film has been completed except for one song which will begin shortly. Bhanu Mehra is making her debut opposite Allu Arjun and Arya is playing a negative role. Suhasini and Ashish Vidyarthi are playing other major roles.
