A cheating case was filed against Tollywood director Teja by film producer Chadalavada Srinivas in Jubilee Hills police station on Friday. The producer alleged that Teja had sold his residence on Plot No. 1363 at Road No. 45 in Jubilee Hills to him about four months ago. Despite this, Teja barged into their residence and threatened the watchman late on Thursday night. “We have registered cases under Section 420, 448 and 506 on Mr Teja for threatening, trespassing and cheating. We are inquiring into the matter,” said Mr Narsing Rao, inspector, Jubilee Hillspolice station. Mr Chadalavada filed cases against Mr Teja, his wife, brother-in-law and father-in-law for allegedly trespassing into his property. Teja, however, said that he is being frame me. “They are trying to frame false cases. Mr Chadalavada promised to pay Rs 3 crore towards the property and hasn’t paid any money till date,” he said. “The GPA between him and my father-in-law who owns the property was cancelled two days ago. I am only talking on behalf of my father-in-law who is 74 years old. This is legally our property. How can he file a trespassing case against me in my own property?” questioned Teja. |
