'Sexiest Woman in the World'!


Katrina Kaif named FHM's 'Sexiest Woman in the World'!

The stunning actor who has starred in several recent blockbusters was declared the winner of the poll conducted by FHM India for the first time.

Bollywood star Katrina Kaif was voted at the No. 1 spot in FHM India's 100 Sexiest Women in the World poll, fending off competition from the likes of Hollywood superstars Angelina Jolie and Scarlett Johansson, singers Rihanna and Madonna, Bollywood superstars like Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Bipasha Basu, supermodels like Adriana Lima and Gisele Bundchen, amongst several other sexy and successful women in the world.

"I think it's a nice thing that people have taken the time out to vote for me as FHM's Sexiest Woman in the World, and that's what makes this really special to me," said Katrina Kaif. "This poll is something you have to smile about - its fun, its sweet - and I'm really happy to have won this."

The Global Winner was Transformers star Megan Fox who came second in the poll, while the vivacious Kareena Kapoor was third closely followed by the beautiful Deepika Padukone and sexy Bipasha Basu in the fourth and fifth slot.

"It is fantastic that Katrina Kaif has emerged the winner of FHM's very first 100 Sexiest Women in the World poll," said Farhad Dadyburjor, Editor, FHM India. "The competition was really fierce with several girls going neck to neck in terms of votes, but Katrina truly 'raced' to the top."

In its 14th year internationally, the original and biggest search for the most beautiful women on the planet - FHM's 100 Sexiest Women in the World poll was held for the first time in India. Since the original list of women went up on a few months back to the final culmination of the winning girls in the June issue, approximately five lakh men have voted for their favourite beautiful women.

FHM (For Him Magazine) is world's leading men's magazine brand, recently felicitated as 'International Magazine of the Year 2008' at the prestigious PPA Awards in UK.
