Mallikharjuna Rao admitted in hospital

PK Mallikarjuna Rao, senior comedian and General Secretary of the Movie Artistes Association, is undergoing treatment at the ICU of oncology wing at Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad. He is diagnosed with leukemia. Hospital sources said the actor's condition had turned critical since last night. MAA president Nagababu and other office bearers, friends and well-wishers visited the hospitals. He is an active member in the Telugu Desam Party's cultural wing. A few days back, he visited Simhachalam temple near Vizag, where he said he would be taking active part in politics. Before getting admitted to the hospital a couple of days back, he was pursuing refurbishing of the association's new building
